Our Mission
Nerd Girls is a community that celebrates young women in STEM by giving them a platform to share their stories. Our mission is to encourage and inspire girls to change the world around them by pursuing their passions in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Our Story
Founded by Dr. Karen Panetta, a professor at Tufts University, Nerd Girls has grown from a campus club into a media movement — inspiring the next generation of women in STEAM through TV, web, social media, and more.
